Dance Recital

Last night was G's dance recital- I left W incharge of video taping while I was the class line up mom. Not a good choice I have video of T dancing in the aisle but awful video of G dancing on stage.

T is 5!

Yesterday was T's 5th birthday. Overall she had a good day- not quite what was planned since Elijah was home sick but she had fun.

She loves Dora and the chocolate strawberry cupcakes my friend Jean makes so she wanted a chocolate strawberry Dora cake. Jean made her a wonderful 3-D map of a Dora adventure to Cupcake Mountain- she loved it.

Baseball and Dance Update

E started baseball. Being a nine year old who has never played has not been easy but his assistant coach said he is the most improved player on the team : ) His first game he got hit in the knee by the ball but he also swung at it. It was his third strike so instead of getting to take his base he was out. After 2 games being rained out the coach forgot to put him in the batting order so he didn't play the next game at all! The last couple games have been better. His team won both and he got some hits- even walked home a run on 4 balls.

G is no longer a BINGO girl : ( They had their last performance of their competition dance at the spaghetti dinner last weekend. Recital is at the end of May and then we have the summer off.

T is very excited about starting dance next year, she was dancin' in the aisle at the dinner!
