Saturday Night Outings

Last night was a busy one. G's dance school was hosting a Father Daughter Sweetheart dance and E and I were headed to a Mississippi Riverkings game. T stayed at a neighbors house and got to play with a big girl friend all by herself.

W and G had a good time at the dance. G said it was a good luck night- she won several door prizes and W won for best dressed. : ) I had the camera at the hockey game so this is the only picture for now. I am sure I will find more on Facebook as other people who were at the dance post them, and they had a professional picture taken as well.

The hockey game was a boyscout outing. We watched the game and then got to skate afterward. The team members even joined the fans on the ice. E enjoyed the game- he likes to go to baseball games with W but said hockey was more exciting. He did well skating especially considering this is the first time he has ice skated since he was 3 and hanging onto a pickle bucket! I am sure knowing how to inline skate made it easier. I skated too. I was really glad I brought my skates with me. The only rentals they had were hockey skates. I have been skating on figure skates for who knows how long and I am too old of a dog to be trying to learn new tricks.

Pinewood Derby

Not to be out done in the awards department E won the Pinewood derby for his den last weekend.

Dance Competition

G and I just returned from her first dance competition. The others were invited but they decided the weather was much to nice to miss out on the parks and fishing spots here in Memphis so it was just the two of us for the weekend. Coincidentally G is also student of the week so her class mascot Charlie got to go to competition with us. Her group did good, especially for their first comp. together and many of the girls first comp. ever. They received a Ruby Award- the second highest they give out. Very few Diamonds were given.

On Friday Charlie and I went to Hot Springs AR. Wen we got to are hotel Charlie and I unpacked and went to find the pool. Then we put are swim soots on and went swimming. Then we ate the pise (pies) we got from Burger King and went to bed.

Wen we woke up we ate some Pop Tarts then we went to Spot Light Dance Cup Competition. Charlie met my big sister for dance her name is Cheyenne. Then he watched my dance. my Dance- Bingo. We watched Cheyenes duet, called How Could You belve Me. The rest of the day we wathced other dances.

At the Awards ceremony my school won a lot of awards some peppel got a trophy. my group won a Ruby award. I had a great time with Charlie I hope he cums over agan.
